Sayali Bhagat walks the ramp in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Miss India 2004 Sayali Bhagat walked the ramp at the ethnic Indian wear fashion show ‘Style Mantra 2015’ on Saturday afternoon at Hyatt Regency. She is also a Bollywood actress who has starred in films like ‘The Train’ and ‘Yaariyaan’. Organized by Trends Advertising and Marketing Consultants, the event was inaugurated by Bhagat. Twenty four Nepali and Indian models showcased the latest designs in saris, lehengas and salwar suits. Popular Nepali faces like Miss Nepal Earth 2013 Rojisha Shahi Thakuri and model Asmee Shrestha were also seen at the event. The designs were from Indian brands like Mahotsav, Rose Fashion, Parvati Fabrics Limited and Ambica Fashions. Organizer Amit Mittal said, “We’ve brought new ethnic Indian saris to Nepal. These brands have become very popular internationally. We’re hopeful that they will be able to establish a good market in Nepal, too.”
