Athlete Model Sipora Gurung Biography ,Photogallery
Sipora Gurung is an athlete mainly renowned for volleyball. She has set the record of youngest player of South Asian Games at the age of 13.Sipora has been an youth icon on sports in Nepal. She is the bronze medalist on 10th South Asian Games held in Colombo.She has dozens of awards in international and national level volleyball and other athletics.Sipora came to limeline when she participated in Miss Nepal 2013 where she won the title of Miss
Talent.Although she has acted in a Gurung Movie called Ghalek (Sign Of Love) she likes to be called as an athlete only as acting is not her cup of tea.Recently she has completed her second movie named Yamphawati The Princess based on Gurung culture which is produced under the banner of Thumro Production.It is said that actress Sipora Gurung was paid Nrs 8 Lakhs for the movie which is the highest amount ever paid to any Nepalese actor.Sipora has done several sports related ads which she thinks is an universal practice by the sports celebrity.This will be interesting to see if Sipora will be able to stick on her determination or one day the Lucy film industry will attract her too.
Sipora is permanent resident of Pokhara city and daughter of an retired Army.She was grounded because of the injury while in a national level volleyball match in Pokhara before few years, after more than a year's rest and treatment, she has came back to court again.Besides the sports, she is also involved in many social works lie Project Maya (Let's Start Giving).
Sipora is very talent in her academic study as well as she had scored 89% in her SLC and was the College Topper (HSEB).
