Talent Dancer And Theatre Actor Diya Maskey
Diya started her career in Television and later turned to be a theater actor. Initially she didn't get enough support from her family but after seeing her fine and disciplined work in theater, her family were convinced. She debuted in Nepali movie Kagbeni which was a Bhusan Dahal's debut movie.
Kagbeni got critically great response from the audience which is considered the turning point of Nepali movie into modern days realistic stories. Diya's acting in Kagbenin was also appreciated.Diya has featured in other movies such as Ek Din Ek Raat, Sunagabha, Sanghuro etc which are critically
acclaimed movie with average business. Her acting in Sunaghava with actress Nisha Adhikari was appreciated and was selected to compete in the Oscar from Nepal
Diya is very talented dancer as well.In fact she had a dream to become a successful dancer and choreographer. She has performed her dance in several events inside and outside of Nepal.Diyas lastest movie was Fitkiri opposite to popular actor Saugat Malla along with Loot director Nishchhal Basnet and Anup Baral who is another great Theater artist and got married to Diya last year.
